We started Apponka because too many good businesses in Bangladesh were being sold a website that was really just a picture of one. We build systems that run the business, not brochures that describe it.
Most software sold to small businesses here falls into two camps. Either it is a page builder that looks fine until you need it to do something specific, or it is a custom build that arrives late, costs more than quoted, and can only ever be changed by the person who made it.
We work differently. Every project is a real application — server-rendered, database-backed, with an admin panel the owner actually uses. The same architecture we use for an e-commerce store handling cash-on-delivery orders is the one behind a restaurant menu. It scales down cleanly, and it scales up when the business does.
We are based in Dhaka and we build for Bangladeshi businesses. That is not a marketing line — it changes the engineering. Cash on delivery is the default payment path, not a plugin. Pages are optimised for patchy mobile data. Courier integration and local payment gateways are first-class concerns, not afterthoughts.
